To visually reinforce the theme of relationships, I threaded graphic lines throughout the book. Not only did these lines imply relationships and connection, but I also used them to create focal points around moments of beautiful interaction in City Year’s photography. The vellum double cover alludes to the layers of and changeability of the relationships built by City Year.
