I worked closely with the U.S. Congressman and his team from brand analysis, to developing a logo, palette, and typeface, to crafting assets and guidelines for his team to create designs independently. Moulton is approachable and honest, yet with the commanding confidence and expertise to be an effective visionary. His friendliness is coupled with his gravitas and experience as a marine. I worked hard to craft a logo and visual identity that reflects Moulton’s dichotomous leadership.

This cohort-style program, hosted by City Year, gathers school district leaders on a regular basis to problem-solve and share best practices across the country. The bright, energetic, and optimistic logo conveys that the District Learning Network is a space for collaboration and idea generation.
After several months of working as lead designer at BU's College of Communication (COM), I made a formal proposal to COM leadership to lead the school through a brand analysis, shape a visual identity, and implement it across media. There had previously been no defined brand identity for the college. I led months of focus groups, discovery, and analysis, followed by weeks of design work, to create a vibrant identity that is contributing to greater brand awareness via COM's website as well as all print and digital materials.

This 1920s bank-turned-event-space needed a logo and visual identity to match the elegant interior and history of the building. Along with the logo formats and circle illustration, I delivered a full style guide to the Lyceum with a color palette, typeface guidelines, and design recommendations.

Leise’s logo and tagline speak to her personal approach to photography, her warmth, and her commitment to making sure her work always reflects the subject’s story—whether a nonprofit’s mission, a restaurant’s startup, or the arc of a wedding day. While her logo still speaks to her approach, we have discussed a possible logo redesign to better represent her current focus on wedding photography.
When City Year’s brand style evolved to include a new icon style (outlines, rather than solid shapes), we wanted custom icons to depict our AmeriCorps members and our unique service. I researched and experimented to learn to create consistent, quality icons, and I developed a foundational set of City Year-specific icons that pair well with other icons we create or source online. I have continued to iterate on these originals to showcase diversity and, most recently, virtual and COVID-safe service.
Soon after developing the initial icon set, we realized there was a strong desire to be able to represent the corps graphically in a way that fell between a simplified, universal icon and a detailed illustration. The corps' presence, diversity, and talent is central to City Year, and across the organization, people were wishing for more of the corps’ essence to come through in graphic visuals. To that end, I developed illustration sets of City Year AmeriCorps members, beginning with paperdoll-like bodies with a variety of hairstyles. As time went on and we saw more use cases for these custom illustrations, I later developed more distinct bodies, and all bodies and hairstyles can be mixed and matched if desired.
